Welcome to The Golden Rule website.  We hope you find the information you are seeking while gaining an understanding of our program. 

The Golden Rule is an intense, residential treatment facility for women who suffer from alcohol or drug addiction.  The treatment phase evolves over a nine month period during which time an intense recovery curriculum is offered.  The disease of addiction is approached as a disease of the mind, body and spirit.  Based on the twelve steps of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous, instruction is provided offering new coping mechanisms for life’s problems without the use of alcohol and drugs. 

Life at The Golden Rule is structured yet relaxed.  As every aspect of life is affected by alcohol and drugs, so does every aspect require healing and change. Our well rounded schedule allows for both work and play as each area is addressed.

Since the inception of The Golden Rule in 1996, there have been 242 graduates of our program.  These ladies have moved forward to have productive and rewarding lives. It is available for you too.
